Concept
In 2012 I pitched an idea of special offers during the lead-up to Christmas to get more users to return to the website and in theory, create a buzz around the festive period to increase product buying and pique people’s interest in new products. This was after reviewing their google analytics and seeing they had 73% of new visitors to the website and 27% returning visitors, with a greater number during the Christmas period.
Approach
The design entailed a Christmas gift tree Illustration and each date had a pop-up promotion where users could discover new products and increase returning users to the website. The concept was approved by the client and then built and ran during December 2012.
